Preview – BSC Glasgow vs Berwick Rangers – Lowland League
After a deserved win on Tuesday evening, Berwick go into tomorrow’s fixture looking to continue the positive momentum they’ve collected in their opening five competitive matches and take points on the road for the second time this season.
However, The Dream Team face a stern test in getting a result against an in-form BSC Glasgow side. Both teams picked up three points in midweek, with BSC picking apart Cumbernauld Colts in a comfortable 4-0 home victory.
The only team currently linking the sides is Vale of Leithen, who the ‘Gers despatched of by one goal to nil on opening day. Vale put up a strong fight in their matchday #3 home tie, but ultimately fell to an entertaining 6-4 defeat against BSC.
Despite the opposition’s fine form, the ‘Gers will enter the match with no fear having given all their opposition a difficult match so far this season,

Manager Ian Little continues to be without key men Lewis Barr and Kevin Waugh, this one coming too soon for the latter to return despite a recent return to full training, while the former continues to rehabilitate while being involved in light training.
After joining Whitehill Welfare on loan in midweek, where he made a goalscoring debut, Liall Smith won’t make the trip and will also be out of contention for the ‘Gers over the next four weeks.
Craig Reid is however available again having now served the one-match ban picked up in the Wee ‘Gers unfortunate 1-0 defeat to East Kilbride last weekend, boosting the manager’s defensive options.
BSC Glasgow Team News
BSC currently remain undefeated in the 20/21 campaign and sit 2nd in the Lowland League table. Their only slip up thus far came on match day #2 when the side were held to a 0-0 stalemate against Civil Service Strollers.
After a fairly slow start, BSC have began to fire on all cylinders – netting 13 in their previous 3 matches, while their squad currently boasts the league’s joint-top goalscorer in Ross Lyon. The former Clyde and Stranraer midfielder was rested in midweek, so should come into this one fresh.
The Indodrill Stadium is also the home ground of former ‘Ger Grant Rose, the forward let go in the Summer to find a club a little closer to home while he studies.
Berwick will need to be wary of BSC’s array of attacking talent, with Alfie Agyeman a tricky wide forward, Jamie Hamilton possessing a dangerous final ball, Ryan Tierney a strong striker capable of finding the net and the versatile Darren Christie, on loan from Pollok after the West of Scotland League opted to delay its maiden season, an experienced creator and goalscorer.
