Lumsden leaves

Berwick Rangers can today confirm that Cammy Lumsden has left the club on a permanent basis, with the young defender joining Crossgates Primrose for a nominal fee.

Lumsden, who is based in East Wemyss (Kirckaldy), was looking for a move closer to home after growing frustrated with travelling.

Primrose, who are currently sitting 11th in the East of Scotland Premier Division, will be hoping the addition of Lumsden will help them to strengthen a defence that has conceded 55 league goals so far this season.

With the side based near Dunfermline, the move was a no brainer for the youngster.

The club would like to thank Cammy for his time with the ‘Gers, and wish him all the best in his future career.
