Berwick have completed the signing of Blair Henderson from Bonnyrigg Rose on a full transfer in a deal until May 2016.

The 20-year-old striker, who is 6ft 3in, had been in prolific form for the East Super League side so far this season, scoring 12 goals in 12 games including a hat-trick against Haddington Athletic.

Manager Colin Cameron will no doubt be delighted to get his man after saying following Saturday’s win over Clyde how he was hoping to bring a player in at the beginning of this week.

Henderson started his career at Dunfermline and came close to signing for Hearts in November 2013 following an extensive trial period but, after failing to win a deal, he went to East Fife.

He left Bayview after a month and joined Annan from March until the end of the season, where he made 12 appearances (eight starts) and scored three goals.

Henderson has linked up with the squad and will be available for selection for this Saturday’s home match against Montrose at Shielfield Park.
