Windram returns from Coldstream
‘Gers winger Gary Windram has returned to the club upon the expiration of the temporary transfer deal that saw him head back to Coldstream in November 2019.
The young winger started four matches whilst out on loan to the Home Park side, a figure limited by a suspension picked up while with the Streamers, the side he has spent the past three seasons with.
It was in his return match that Windram saw red during the final moments of a 3-0 defeat away to Kinnoul, preventing him from playing again until December 14th. This would be a much more positive experience for the tricky youngster, playing 80 minutes in a 3-0 away win at Oakley United.
Just after Christmas, Gary completed a further 80 minutes in another 3-0 away win, this time to Peebles Rovers. His final game for Coldstream would be his best yet, playing a starring role in a 5-0 victory at home to Tweedmouth Rangers. During the game, Windram created a host of chances, rifled a shot into the top corner and bagged the Man of the Match award.
We’d like to thank Coldstream for allowing our player a valuable opportunity to pick up more regular playing time, and we look forward to welcoming Gary back into the fold at Shielfield Park.
