Wilson picks up shoulder injury
Defender Robert Wilson has been side-lined with a shoulder injury which requires further assessment before the timescale for recovery will be known.
Wilson picked up the injury during the defeat to Annan on Saturday but stayed on the pitch to finish the game. Robert had worked tirelessly to get back into the team following a long term knee injury, even heading out on loan to Haddington to regain full fitness at the beginning of the season.
Manager Robbie Horn is gutted for the defender: “It’s a big blow for us as I think Bob has done really well since coming back into the team. He has worked really hard on getting back into fitness after his serious knee injury so it’s obviously a huge disappointment for Bob as well. The nature of his job as a mechanic means it will have a big impact on his life outside of football too which people don’t always appreciate.”
Everyone at the club would like to wish Robert a speedy recovery.
