Wanted: Match Reporter

Berwick Rangers Football Club is seeking a voluntary match reporter ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, as the club continues seeking to expand and improve the content it can offer its supporters.

Whilst the ideal candidate would be available to attend all home and away games, the club does understand that this isn’t always possible. In exchange for your assistance, the club will provide free entry to all matches.

Match reports would be used on the club’s official website as well as in our matchday programme; will be distributed to local newspapers and may also be used elsewhere.

Further, our ideal candidate will have the optional responsibility of becoming responsible of player statistics, keeping our site up to date with player appearances, goals, bookings and the like.

This opportunity may be of particular interest to local students, offering a valuable chance to pick up experience with one of the area’s largest sporting organisations, to see your work reach thousands and with the prospect of further responsibilities and development regarding the club’s traditional and digital media output should you wish to get even more involved.

In any case, the club is open to hearing from applicants of any age and experience and welcomes all interested in putting themselves forward.
