The ‘keeper had to be alert to keep out the Bully Wee on numerous occasions and ensured the game remained within reach for the ‘Gers after he conceded to an impressive half-volley by Sean Higgins.

Runner-up this week was Ross Graham, the defender asked to slot in to the side at centre-half and looking assured throughout his full ‘Gers debut. Ross picked up 29% of votes.

Darren Lavery earned 14% of the voting after being asked to play a role slightly deeper than usual with the ‘Gers opting for a 4-2-3-1 formation. The striker stuck to his task well, linking play from midfield and attack.

The final 14% of votes went to super-sub Dwayne Coultress, who’s pull-back for Blair Henderson to net his fourth league goal of the season enabled the ‘Gers to take a point home.

Well done to Kevin and the rest of the team for ensuring the ‘Gers avoided losing three on the trot – hopefully this Saturday’s clash with East Stirlingshire will provide a great opportunity to begin a winning run.

Kick off is 3pm at Shielfield Park with admission £12 Adults, £6 Concessions. We hope to see you there!
