Ryan Renton fundraising appeal

The club will be joining in with the ongoing fundraising appeal for Ryan Renton at this Saturday’s game against University of Stirling, and there will be a facility beside the entrance gates for fans to donate as well as in the Club hospitality area.

A message from Ryan’s family and girlfriend Beth can be found below:

“Ryan, from Berwick is 26 and has been battling blood cancer since he was 19. He is a local league footballer and many clubs have already helped.

“Despite the best efforts at the Freeman Hospital over the years, Ryan has now exhausted all available NHS treatments and there is no longer anything available to ‘cure’ him, all that can be done now is chemotherapy to buy us some time.

“Because of this, we’re desperately trying to fundraise enough to fly Ryan out of the UK to receive treatment not available on the NHS.

“It would mean the absolute world to us to be able to reach our target and give Ryan one last shot at living the life a 26 year old should be living.

Please help us in our fight to save Ryan’s life. Any donation is massively appreciated”

As you enter the stadium for our clash with Stirling Univeristy, you will see a table with donation buckets near the kiosk. These will be there until half-time. You can also make a donation digitally through the JustGiving page at any time.
