Preview: Berwick Rangers vs Clyde – SPFL Ladbrokes League Two
John Coughlin will return to the Shielfield dugout for the first time since 2007 tomorrow looking to ignite a fire in a Berwick side which haven’t tasted victory in competitive action since the 3rd October.
Berwick Rangers Team News:
Coughlin will once again be without long-term absentees Calum Helm (knee) and Euan Bauld (back) with the youngsters still recovering from injury.
Mark Walters may well join the pair on the sideline after picking up a calf injury during Monday night’s 2-2 draw with East Stirlingshire U20’s in Development League East action. Walters will undergo a late fitness test having taken part in light training yesterday evening.
In better news David Banjo has recovered from a head knock sustained in last weekend’s cruel 1-0 defeat in Annan, and the new manager expects to have a full squad available to him other than those aforementioned.
Clyde Team News:
The Bully Wee are likely to welcome back playmaker Sean Higgins into the fold with the attacking midfielder expected to return after a lay-out with a groin injury.
They will however be without full-back Chris Mitchell for the clash, the versatile defender ruled out through a suspension earned in last weekend’s Montrose clash.
Barry Ferguson told the Clyde official website earlier in the week that he expects tomorrow to be a tough trip for the away side but expects his side to be able to find consistency with a win.
