Preview: Berwick Rangers V Clyde – SPFL Ladbrokes League Two

Berwick Rangers will be looking to continue their impressive form as they host title-chasing Clyde at Shielfield Park tomorrow. Unbeaten at Shielfield Park since 2015, the ‘Gers would secure League Two status with a point or more, though anything less than a win for East Stirlingshire would deem Berwick safe.

Berwick Rangers Team News:

After penning a deal which saw him secure his Shielfield future, manager John Coughlin stated his internation to use the remaining games of the 16/17 campaign to make judgements on the futures of his playing squad.

The manager will be without Sandy Cunningham, who was injured in last weekend’s 0-0 draw with East Stirlingshire.

However club vice-captain Steven Notman may return to the fold after having stitches removed from above his eye prior to last weekend’s Ochilview stalemate.

Sandy Cunningham will almost certainly miss the remainder of the season

Clyde Team News:

After stuttering in their bid for promotion, Clyde will be looking to address their run of two games without a win and have the luxury of a full team to choose from as they look to apply the pressure on league leaders East Fife.

Speaking to Clyde’s official website, manager Barry Ferguson declared: “I’m only concerned about us at the moment; first and foremost we need to take care of ourselves and find a way to start winning again.

“We need to go there and get a win, against a difficult side that has picked up recently under John Coughlin.”
