PLC Director update
The club announces that there has been changes in the Board of the Company.
Dunbar based Director Callum Porteous has stepped down due to his increased business and family commitments and receives the sincere thanks of Chairman Len Eyre and fellow Directors for the sterling work he has done in his time as a Director.
Also stepping down is long serving Associate Director Jimmy Crease who had recently been acting as joint manager of Linlithgow Rose.
Jimmy played for Berwick in the early 1970’s and he has had four spells as manager.
First between 1992 and 1994. He returned to Berwick in 2005 as general manager. Following the resignation of John Coughlin in October 2007, Michael Renwick in April 2008 and Alan McGonigal in November 2008, he acted as caretaker manager. Following the resignation of McGonigal he said that he would only act as a caretaker but it was announced on 20 December 2008 that he would retain the managers position until the end of the 2008-09 but continued until October 2011 and since as Associate Director.
Jimmy and Callum will be welcome visitors to the club at any time.
