One in and one out for Harvey

Manager Johnny Harvey has yesterday added former Cameroon under 23 international Alexandre Happi to his squad.

The 23-year-old centre back, who is also comfortable in a defensive midfield position, has joined Harvey’s squad after a spell in the US. Previously Happi played in Portugal with Grupo Desportivo Sourense and before that completed his studies whilst playing for Clemson Tigers college team in America.

Manager Johnny Harvey feels he has added some strength in depth with his latest signing: “Happi comes with a good background. He’s been playing in Portugal, he’s played in America and he’s came in to strengthen our squad. He’ll give us a bit more competition in certain areas of the pitch as he can play in a couple of different positions but I’m excited to see him in action.”

Happi, who featured on the bench during yesterday’s 2-0 win over Albion Rovers, will be looking to impress in training this week ahead of next Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie vs League One side East Fife.

Elsewhere, Striker Cedwyn Scott has returned to Premiership side Dundee following his loan spell with the club. The youngster netted four times during his spell with the ‘Gers and the club wish him well for the future.
