More details ahead of Saturday’s match – special offers, free kids’ entry, and more!
On Monday, we unveiled our new, improved matchday experience at Shielfield Park (https://berwickrangers.com/a-new-matchday-experience-at-shielfield-park-starting-this-saturday/). We’ve been blown away by the response to that article across our social media platforms, and we are so excited for Saturday that we’ve decided to share a few more details about what you can expect tomorrow.
The first exciting piece of news we’ve shared is that the BRFC Club Shop at Shielfield will now be offering a matchday special offer on a selected piece of merchandise. Tomorrow we have a half price offer on beanie hats, which are £7.50 rather than £15. Club 1881 members can buy a beanie for the even lower price of £7 – a 53% saving!
Yesterday we also announced that all under 16s can attend Berwick Rangers home matches for free, for the rest of the 2022/23 season. We want to see lots of young people at Shielfield, making noise and cheering on Berwick, and we hope that this offer makes it easier than ever for kids and teens in the town to follow their local club.
We also can’t wait to welcome fans into the JB Lounge, and hospitality guests into the Eric Tait Lounge. Earlier today we published the menu for food and drink in the JB Lounge for the Cumbernauld game on our social media channels, and with hot food starting at only £1.50 and beer for £2, we are hoping plenty of supporters will make use of the lounge before the game, at half time, and once the match is over. And if you need an extra reason to stay at Shielfield for a little longer, our new flat-screen TVs will be showing England v Scotland in the Six Nations straight after the final whistle in our game, as we trade a round ball for an oval one, and a little cross-border rivalry.
