Match Preview : Queen’s Park v Berwick Rangers – Ladbrokes League Two

Johnny Harvey and the boys travel to Hampden Park tomorrow for a Ladbrokes League Two clash against 8th placed Queen’s Park.

The game kicks off at 3pm and could potentially be the ‘Gers last visit to the famous national stadium due to Queen’s Park recent agreement to sell the stadium to the SFA.

Both sides are out of form and will be looking for a decent result to kick start a better second half of the season. Berwick will be looking to close the gap on the team directly above them.

History

The last two encounters have seen a 2-2 draw at Shielfield Park in the League Cup and a 1-0 win with a disputed goal for Queen’s Park earlier this campaign.

This will be the 71st away game for Berwick at Queen’s Park in our history, with 23 wins to date.

Berwick News

The team news remains the same as last weekend at Peterhead for Johnny and the squad, with only Ouzy See and Declan O’Kane out injured.  New signing Calum Adamson is expected to be involved and make his debut.

Queen’s Park News

Head Coach Mark Roberts was happy with the performance against Stirling Albion last time out after changing the starting 11. The home side have players back from injury and Roberts has remarked that his side will look to play on the front foot and take the game to Berwick.
