Berwick have proven difficult to beat thus far with draws against title-favourites Clyde and League One Albion Rovers, and were unfortunate in defeat against Kilmarnock on Tuesday night.

Berwick Rangers Team News:

Both Kevin McKinlay and Darren Lavery returned to light training last night, and will face late fitness tests to dictate whether they may play a part in Morton.

One player who definitely won’t play a part is Ben Stirling, who was forced off against Kilmarnock. The verstaile midfielder will be until at least our league opener against Arbroath.

Manager John Coughlin is however boosted by the return of both Steven Notman and Barry Hogg, who had been unavailable over the past fortnight.

Greenock Morton Team News:

Jim Duffy’s side currently sit on top of Group H, having kept three consecutive clean sheets in their matches. The Ton kept sharp on Tuesday evening by hosting Swansea City’s U23’s, in which their defences were breached in a 2-1 loss.

Despite an impressive start to the season, Duffy has reinforced his side with the addition of defender Jamie Lindsay in a loan deal from Celtic. The youngster will be available to make a debut in tomorrow’s game.
