Match Preview: Berwick Rangers v Stirling Albion – SPFL Ladbrokes League Two
Berwick Rangers host Stirling Albion tomorrow, and there will be a change in the dugout for the game, though it is not yet confirmed whether new boss John Coughlin will take charge of the Dream Team for the first time since 2007 when he left the club.
Berwick Rangers Team News:
Berwick will be without winger Dwayne Coultress for the clash, with the youngster suffering from a dead leg. The absence will no doubt felt by Berwick who have relied upon Coultress as a creative attacking outlet in recent weeks.
In better news, Jonny Fairbairn will return from suspension after serving a one game ban during last weekend’s 4-1 defeat in Montrose.
And Craig Halkett could be in line for a home debut, the Scotland U19 cap and Rangers loanee looking to make a good first impression in front of his new gaffer who will have a decision to make come the end of the month on whether or not to active a loan extension clause on the defender.
Long-term absentees Euan Bauld and Calum Helm remain sidelined.
Stirling Albion Team News:
The Binos are also boosted by a return from suspension with defensive midfield player Willie Robertson available once more.
Salim Kouider-Aissa will also be available after featuring in Under 20’s action in midweek, the young Algerian striker looking to make a push for the first team.
However the away side will be without centre backs Ross Smith who remains suspended, and skipper Ross McMillan who is sidelined with a hamstring issue.
Forwards Phil Johnston and Craig Beattie also remain out with respective injuries.
