Berwick Rangers are delighted to confirm that after conducting interviews last night (5th November), the club have today agreed terms with John Coughlin to become first-team manager of the club, returning to Shielfield Park eight years after guiding Berwick Rangers to the League Two title.

After leaving Berwick in 2007, the 52 year-old took on the role of Stenhousemuir manager, where he’d once again earn promotion from the fourth tier, overseeing the Warriors through the play-offs after a 4th placed finish.

John the went on to make the switch to Stenhousemuir’s rivals East Stirlingshire, where he’d take on a different challenge entirely, staying with the ‘Shire for three years before parting company with the club after declining their offer of a new contract.

John is delighted to return to the Shielfield dugout. The club would like to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning manager. More information on the appointment will follow in the coming week.
