Robbie and the boys return to Shielfield Park tomorrow with a League Two encounter vs Clyde that kicks off at 3pm.
The ‘Gers were unlucky to lose away at Peterhead last time out after a battling performance in a narrow 1-0 defeat. A game in which Daryl Healy stuck the woodwork prior to the home side scoring.
Danny Lennon’s Clyde side arrive in good form after 3 successive victories in the league. Clyde have enjoyed a major upturn in fortunes in 2018 with their wonderful end of 2017/18 season form carrying over into this new campaign.
They still boast former Scotland international and last seasons League Two top scorer (with 25 goals), David Goodwillie in their ranks.
This will be the 35th league meeting between the sides in Berwick. Currently it is a very even history with Berwick winning 11 games to Clyde’s 13. Both sides scoring 47 and 50 goals respectively in those clashes.
Aidan Mcllduff is expected to make his home debut after impressing on his debut last weekend away at Peterhead. Jamie Todd should return after suspension. Sean Murphy is expected to still be out with an ankle injury.
The ‘Gers confirmed three signings yesterday with Kevin Dabrowski, Greg Hurst and Chris Hamilton all joining. The players arrived on loan from Premiership sides Hibernian, St Johnstone and Hearts respectively until January. All are expected to go straight into the squad for the game today.
Clyde will be looking for much of the same after a convincing 4-1 win over Elgin last Saturday. David Goodwillie netting his 7th of the campaign already in that match. That game also saw Karim Belmokhtar net his first goal for the club.
