Hurst Returns

The ‘Gers are delighted to confirm a second signing of the day as Greg Hurst returns for a second loan spell at the club.

The 21-year-old striker returns to Shielfield until January, two years after his first loan spell. Hurst netted four goals in nine starts for the ‘Gers before returning to St Johnstone. The following season he joined East Fife, where he netted five times in the first half on the 2017/18 season. Hurst enjoyed a second spell in League One for the second half of last season, scoring two in seven starts for Forfar Athletic.

Manager Robbie Horn is delighted to welcome Hurst back after the success of his first spell: “I’m delighted to get Greg who has a lot of experience playing in the lower leagues already. He had a good loan spell at Berwick before and he gives us good options right across the front.”

Hurst is expected to join fellow new arrival Kevin Dabrowski in tomorrow’s squad as Danny Lennon’s Clyde travel South.
