LEWIS ALLAN EXTENDS HIS SHIELFIELD STAY
The club is delighted to announce that striker Lewis Allan has signed a new two-year contract.
The new deal will keep the ex-Hibs striker, 25, at the club until summer 2024.
Allan joined the club ahead of the COVID-19 curtailed 2020/21 season and hit five goals in 16 appearances in all competitions.
This season, the striker has surpassed his tally for last season and in fewer games, too, notching six goals so far this campaign in 14 appearances in all competitions. His goal tally is one behind current top scorer Graham Taylor, who signed a new contract of his own last month.
Speaking about tying Allan down to a new contract, Manager Stuart Malcolm said: “We’re over the moon that Lewis has signed a new two-year deal and committed his future to the club.
“He’s been in good form so far this campaign and I’m confident that once he shakes off a couple of injuries that have been halting his progress, he can have a strong end to the season and help us climb the Lowland League table.”
