Finnie departs Shielfield; Reid in loan switch

Defender Ryan Finnie has today left Berwick Rangers by mutual agreement.

All at the club would like to thank Ryan for his contribution over the past two seasons and wish him well moving forward.

Meanwhile, defender Craig Reid has joined Tranent Juniors FC on loan for three months.

The 22-year-old hasn’t featured so far for the ‘Gers this season through injury and heads to the East of Scotland Premier League outfit for game time as he continues his recovery.

He’ll link up with Kieran Somerville, who departed the ‘Gers for Tranent on a permanent basis earlier this month. Both players were in the matchday squad for Tranent’s 2-0 Scottish Cup Second Round victory over Broomhill FC on Saturday.
