Legends-Hall of Fame Dinner
In conjunction with the Supporters Club the second BRFC Legends Dinner was held in the Black and Gold on Friday 12th May.
Four of the inductees received their awards (Sadly Martin Neil, local Berwick lad who went on to Dundee United, before re-joining Berwick the other inductee on the night was away on a break)

Jimmy Crease, who played in the early 70’s, then became Manager on three different occasions and is now an associate director. A popular figure in his career with the club.
Dave Smith the former Aberdeen, Rangers and Scotland player who joined as Player Manager in 1976 and in 1978/9 became the first manager to lead the club to a championship and recognised by many as the best player ever to wear the black and gold.
Dennis McCleary ,Club Secretary who joined as Assistant Secretary in 1970 then moved up in 1976 and despite a couple of short spells away from the club still fills the role today after 47 years.
John James (Ian) Oliver best known as ‘P’ who played for the club in the late 1950’s then joined Dave Smith in the late 70’s intially to help out with the reserves. Became kit man and still in that role at Shielfield. He and Dennis McCleary have a joint service of around 90 years with Berwick.
