Kieran Somerville moves on

The club can today confirm that full back Kieran Somerville has departed the club having agreed terms with Tranent Juniors.

Somerville was a regular in the side last season, but has struggled with injury in the new campaign and has found opportunities Stuart Malcolm’s first team hard to come by following his return to training. It is hoped the move will provide ample opportunity for the defender to get back to his best through more regular football.

Manager Stuart Malcolm has seen his squad size inflate in recent weeks following the loan additions of Kieran McGrath, Cameron Dow and Aidan Denholm, as well as the addition of Tam Scobbie on a short-term contract.
