Kay leaves on loan

Fauldhouse

The club can confirm that young goalkeeper Thomas Kay has joined Fauldhouse United Under 20’s in a deal that will see him pick up more experience at Park View for the remainder of the campaign.

Kay joined from Kerse United in the summer, having also been with the club in September 2021 when he featured on the bench in a Scottish Cup victory over Gretna 2008.

With Calum Antell making the #1 jersey his own and Dylan Orr a capable deputy, the decision was made to send Thomas out on loan for the benefit of his development. A clause is in place that will see Berwick able to recall the ‘keeper at 24 hours notice if required.

Thomas will now join up with the youth squad at Fauldhouse, whose first-team are managed by former ‘Gers league winner, Iain Diack. All at the club would like to wish Thomas and Fauldhouse the best for the rest of the season.
