McKenna’s header makes it honours even against Edinburgh City
A 1-1 draw was the end result yesterday after Michael McKenna leapt to meet a great cross from Steven Thomson to level it against Edinburgh City after Tena’s free kick had given the visitors the lead at the start of the second half. Hear the thoughts of the manager Robbie Horn as well as goalscorer Michael McKenna in the BRFCTV clips below:

The goalscorer also earned the social media man of the match vote from the fans. The team now move on to an important match at Arbroath next Saturday in the Third round of the William Hill Scottish Cup. Prior to that will be the Steven Notman testimonial against Rangers XI on Wednesday evening with a 7.45pm kick off.
Elsewhere in the league the Top 3 all dropped points with Stirling and Montrose being held to draws and Peterhead losing to fourth place Stenhousemuir whilst at the bottom Cowdenbeath lost again to remain in tenth place.
Depending on any potential replay from the Arbroath cup tie our next competitive home game at Shielfield is not until December 2nd when we face high flying Stirling Albion in the Ladbrokes SPFL Division 2.
In the meantime you can catch up with yesterday’s BRFCTV highlights below.
