Harvey confirms coaching staff

Johnny Harvey has tonight confirmed his coaching staff as David Lees, Neil Hastings and Andy Carlin join the Manager at Shielfield Park.

David Lees and Neil Hastings both join the ‘Gers as coaches. Lees is a UEFA B License holder and has previously managed Junior sides Dunbar United and Tranent Juniors. Johnny & David have worked together for a number of years at both Penicuik and Haddington Athletic. Hastings meanwhile has experience as a Coach with Hearts Under 17s, Head of Youth and First Team Cooac at Livingston and most recently was Assistant Manager at fellow League Two side Cowdenbeath during the 16/17 season. Hastings also owns Premier Football Academy.

Andy Carlin will be working with the ‘keepers at Shielfield as he takes over from Jim McQueen as Goalkeeping Coach. Carlin had a long playing career at various professional clubs including Greenock Morton, Stenhousemuir and Cowdenbeath, and won the Junior Scottish Cup with Harvey in 2008. Carlin is also a Director of One Touch GK Academy.

The coaching staff will be joined by Physio Alix Ronaldson, who began working with the team on Saturday.

The club would like to welcome Davie, Neil, Andy and Alix to the club, and also take a moment to thank the departing Myles Allan, Jim McQueen and Steph Wells for their efforts over the years.
