‘Gers Development Team co-manager Neil Oliver is amongst a long list of former pro’s who will take to the Shielfield Park pitch this Sunday to form part of the Dukla Pumpherston side which will take on a Haggerston Castle Select this Sunday.

Neil will be joined by an array of former SPFL talents, in addition to the current Annan Athletic boss Jim Chapman!:

  • Brian Martin (ex-Motherwell)
  • Ally Graham (ex-Raith Rovers)
  • Brian McPhee (ex-St Johnstone)
  • Joe Tortolano (ex-Hibernian)
  • Davie Irons (ex-Partick Thistle)
  • Davie Nicholl (ex-Falkirk)
  • Jim Chapman (Annan Athletic’s manager)
  • Gerry McCabe (ex-Hamilton Academical)
  • Stephen Nicholas (ex-Motherwell)
  • Euan Donaldson (ex-East Fife)
  • Stephen Mooney (ex-Airdrieonians)

And whilst the game will kick-off at 2pm, fans are advised to get down to Shielfield early to enjoy a full day of entertainment, with fun and games from Haggerston favourites Rory the Tiger, Bradley Bear and many more. Food and drink will also be available on the day.

Admission is by donation, with a suggestion of £5 Adults and £2 Children. All proceeds will go to local charity Cash for Kids, and will help underprivileged children enjoy aspects of life some of us will no doubt take for granted.

Post-match, a charity auction will be carried out where football memorabilia will be sold, with all money raised also being passed on to Cash for Kids.

Please spread the word – Berwick Rangers are very keen for this event to be a great success and are delighted to be supporting a great cause. As such, the club would love to see a healthy crowd at Shielfield Park on the day!
