Community Day this Saturday

The club would like to remind supporters and locals of the Community Club Day being hosted at Shielfield Park this Saturday.

With first-team action on the park as the ‘Gers take on Edinburgh University at 3pm, entry to the clash will be free for all thanks to generous contributions from both Berwick Rangers Supporters Club and Berwick Rangers Supporters Trust, who’ve kindly agreed to cover the cost of expected gate receipts from the day.

Collection buckets will be in operation, with any contributions fans wish to make added directly into the 1881 Fund.

The fund aims to help the club put a competitive side on the park next season, accelerate towards a brighter future and help establish Berwick Rangers as an invaluable asset to the local community. At the time of writing, it has already raised over £4750 in contributions from our incredible support.

Elsewhere, the club will host inclusive activities for families prior to kick-off including a crossbar challenge on the pitch; with other plans made but being kept under wraps as they remain weather dependent!

Furthermore, we also plan on offering a pop-up bar in the ground for supporters to enjoy a beverage while they’re spending the afternoon at Shielfield Park.

And finally, television cameras will be in attendance too as BBC Scotland’s “A View from the Terrace” join us for the day, chatting to fans and club representatives about all things Berwick Rangers FC.
