Berwick Rangers are delighted to announce the signing of experienced midfielder Ross Brown.
25-year-old Brown spent six seasons at East Fife, racking up 117 appearances across League One and League Two, before signing for then Championship side Livingston in the summer of 2017. His time at Almondvale was cut short by injury and Brown spent the second half of 2017/18 at League One side Airdrieonians.
Manager Robbie Horn is delighted to have secured the versatile midfielder: “Ross is someone I admired when he played for East Fife and Gary Naismith still talks very highly of him. His performances got him a full-time opportunity at Livingston but unfortunately injury hampered him there. I did try to sign him on loan last season but he wanted to stay full time and went to Airdrie. He’s a great addition to our squad and can cover in a few different positions. He has a fantastic attitude and will be a really good character in our changing room. He wants to get back to playing regular football and enjoying it again and he can’t wait to get started.”
Brown joins up with the squad immediately and will be hoping to make his debut for the ‘Gers in Linlithgow tomorrow.
