Berwick Rangers are delighted to welcome SPFL Premiership side Hibernian back to Shielfield Park for a pre-season friendly on Wednesday 4th July.

The Easter Road men, who are visiting Shielfield for the fifth consecutive season, will use the game as a warm up ahead of their Europa League Qualifiers, which begin on Thursday July 12th. Hibs enjoyed a highly successful 2017/18 campaign, finishing 4th in the league and reaching the Scottish Cup semi-final.

Club Secretary Dennis McCleary is thankful to Hibernian for agreeing to a friendly, something which has almost become an annual tradition between the two sides: “We have formed a good working relationship with Hibernian over recent seasons and I would like to thank them, in particular Head of Football Operations George Craig and of course Manager Neil Lennon for coming to Berwick once again”.

More details regarding the game will be announced in due course.
