Berwick Rangers Seniors looking for players

The ‘Gers senior side was formed despite a defeat in their first-ever match.

In mid-June, Berwick Rangers spearheaded a team put together to take on Dunfermline Athletic FFIT Football Club on Old Shielfield.

Since then, members of the team have moved to create Berwick Rangers Seniors, a squad filled with primarily over 35’s who are looking to use regular football matches as an opportunity to get themselves fitter.

All abilities (and sizes!) are welcomed, and with the club having confirmed a return fixture at Dunfermline on the 30th July with a kick-off of 12noon, the team are looking for at least six more players to make the journey north.

For those looking to ease your way into things, the team are also planning a fun session on the Ivinson pitch opposite the club’s main entrance next Sunday, 24th July from 10:30am.
