With Berwick Rangers’ first-team in friendly action against Alloa Athletic tomorrow afternoon (admission £5/£3 in Alloa), the ‘Gers Development Team will be fielding squads in two seperate tournaments over this weekend.

Both sides will be composed of 16 players, with trialists making up the shortfalls in each side. Squads for each team can be found below. All players who are listed by name are signed for the new campaign.

One ‘Gers side will be headed to Forster’s Park (Tranent) in Tranent Juniors’ Foresters Tournament, whilst another will participate in Rosyth FC’s Roysyth Tournament.

A Berwick side led by Neil Oliver and Fergus Myer will be pitted against Crossgates Primrose Junior Football Club in the Foresters Tournament tomorrow (Saturday), with kick-off set for 12:30pm. Dependent on the result tomorrow, Oliver and Myers’ men will take on one of Tranent Juniors and Preston Athletic on Sunday afternoon.

At Recreation Park (Rosyth) meanwhile, Daniel and Derek McKenzie will be joined by Mark Taylor, with the trio guiding Berwick against Tynecastle FC (kick-off 12noon), in a tournament which will conclude with the club taking on one of Rosyth FC and Kennoway Star Hearts Juniors FC on Sunday.
