Match Preview: Forfar Athletic v Berwick Rangers – SPFL Ladbrokes League Two
Berwick travel to the league-leading Forfar Athletic tomorrow as they aim to earn points that would take them further away from a relegation fight that the results of other sides are quickly forcing them to become part of.
Berwick Rangers Team News:
The ‘Gers task will not be made any easier by a number of injuries. Long-term absentees Michael Dunlop and Robert Wilson remain sidelined, and the defence will be further weakened tomorrow with Jonny Fairbairn unavailable due to suspension.
Lee Hamilton suffered a heavy blow to the head in last weekend’s defeat to Forfar’s title-rivals Arbroath, and the full back will also miss out on this one as he continues his recovery.
Goalkeeper Kevin Walker remains out with injury, so youngster Sean Brennan will continue in goals.
Forfar Athletic Team News:
Gary Bollan’s side are without a win in six matches despite their lofty position in the table, and will be looking to bring their poor run to an end at Station Park.
The Loons will benefit from a fully fit squad to choose from tomorrow, and will enjoy an added bonus of first-team fringe players benefitting from match action in Martyn Fotheringham’s midweek testimonial match.
