Dabrowski arrives on loan
Berwick Rangers are delighted to confirm the arrival of Maciej Dabrowski on loan until January.
Known as Kevin, the goalkeeper joins the ‘Gers from Premiership side Hibernian. Dabrowski joined the Leith-based side in the summer of 2017 after impressing on trial. The young stopper had previously been on the books at Lech Poznan II in Poland’s 3 Liga. The 20-year-old offers a large physical presence at the back, standing at 6ft 5.
Manager Robbie Horn has reacted quickly to secure Dabrowski after the need for a goalkeeper was identified: “I’ve been put in a position where I needed to bring in another goalkeeper. Kevin is highly thought of at Hibernian so for me it is a no brainer. There needs to be competition for the No. 1 jersey, it pushes people to be better which can only be a good thing for the club.”
Dabrowski is expected to go straight into Robbie’s squad for tomorrow’s game v Clyde.
