Jordyn Sheerin Joins The ‘Gers
Berwick Rangers are delighted to confirm the addition of striker Jordyn Sheerin, who has became the club’s first Summer 2016 addition, joining after spending last season in the Ladbrokes Championship with Livingston.
Having appeared on 36 occasions for Livi last season, the 26 year-old frontman will add both depth and experience to the ‘Gers forward line despite only breaking back into SPFL football last season.
Standing at 6ft tall, the forward is a real handful for defenders and managed to net against the likes of Hibernian and Greenock Morton last season.
Jordyn is a familiar talent to manager John Coughlin who has managed him at East Stirlingshire previously, the forward netting a header in a 2-1 victory over the ‘Gers in 2012.
However the striker’s most successful season came in 2014/2015, where he attracted the attention of numerous Championship clubs after netting an incredible 42 goals for Musselburgh Athletic.
And the forward isn’t short of SPFL experience elsewhere either, having also previously been with the likes of East Fife and Arbroath as a youngster.
The club hope to provide the thoughts of both Jordyn and manager John in the coming week, with ‘Cough’ no doubt delighted to have landed his man.
Berwick would like to extend a warm welcome to Jordyn and look forward to welcoming him to Shielfield Park in July.
