Kevin McKinlay Becomes ‘Gers Second Summer Signing!

Berwick Rangers are delighted to confirm that wing-back Kevin McKinlay has joined the club following his release from Stirling Albion.

Kevin will add a wealth of experience to the ‘Gers left flank having also enjoyed spells with Ross County, Partick Thistle, Dundalk, Morton, Stenhousemuir and Ayr United during his career.

And the 30 year-old’s versatility will also be an asset to manager John Coughlin, the left sider equally adept at playing in defence or midfield.

Chelsea youth academy product Kevin has also filled in at centre back and even as a striker in the past, however there is no doubting that his vast experience of playing as a left wing-back will have appealed to Coughlin, who often deployed a 3-5-2 formation during the 2015/16 campaign.

The club would like to extend a warm welcome to Kevin and hope to present his thoughts on joining to fans in the coming days.

Berwick also hope to confirm further additions to the team over the coming weeks as John looks to put his own mark on the playing squad.
