William Hill Scottish Cup Round Two – Opposition & Travel Details Confirmed

The draw for the William Hill Scottish Cup Second Round took place at Hampden Park yesterday afternoon and saw Berwick handed an away tie.

If the ‘Gers are to repeat the success of their 2013/2014 Scottish Cup run, they must first overcome tough opposition in the form of Annan Athletic.

The Dream Team have struggled for form at Galabank in recent times, but can take heart from their record against Annan in Scottish Cup clashes – the ‘Gers have been drawn once against the Galabankies, drawing 3-3 at Shielfield Park back in 1996 before progressing courtesy of a 2-1 win the replay.

The tie will be played 24th October with a 3pm kick-off, and plans have already been confirmed by Berwick Rangers Travel Club for a coach.

Leaving Shielfield Park at 10am, the bus will return immediately following the match though there will be a rest and refreshment stop on the return journey.
