Weather causing problems ahead of match tomorrow

 

 

Over an inch of rain has fallen on the Shielfield pitch since late yesterday (Thursday) and the park is currently waterlogged in several areas and very heavy.

Club Secretary Dennis McCleary said at 12.30pm today (Friday) “ There would have been no game today on Shielfield for certain. Given the conditions, and it is a concern as it is still raining, and also looking ahead at the weather forecast it is not promising. We can only hope it improves this evening and overnight. We will gauge again early Saturday but have lined up a standby inspection for 10.45am Saturday as a back-up”
