Under 20s take top spot at a blustery Shielfield tonight

A 3-1 victory against Stirling Albion tonight in the Development League East puts the black and gold team into top spot on 12 points.

Two goal man Jack battles Stirling defender Banner in the second half.

Two goals from Jack after Barrett’s opener put Berwick into a comfortable three goal lead before Stirling pulled one back late on.
The strong wind made for challenging conditions as play went end to end with Berwick capitalising in the first half as they played with it and Stirling benefiting in the second.

The only downside was captain Chapman had to be taken off the pitch on a stretcher after receiving a hip injury in the second half.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
