Berwick Rangers’ match programme ‘The Borderer’ has been recognised in the 2015-16 Scottish Programme Awards.
Finishing runner-up in the Scottish League Two category, the ‘Gers match programme earned the same score as programmes of the likes of Dundee United and Partick Thistle, whilst outscoring other Scottish Premier League opposition such as Ross County, Kilmarnock, St Johnston and more.
The ‘Gers scored 15.5 overall, with design scoring 8 from a possible 10 and content 7.5/10, pipping East Fife to runners-up, as Clyde ran out winners.
At £2, The Borderer also comes in at joint-lowest priced match programme in the league, meaning fans are getting great value for money when they purchase the magazine.
It was a draw last season, but “The Borderer” from Berwick Rangers edges the Best of the Rest League Two title this season ahead of East Fife. A lovely designed programme which makes good use of the club colours and there’s plenty of reading within. At £2 it is very good value and from a small club like Berwick Rangers it’s a credit to them.
The club would like to extend their congratulations to its programme team of Dennis McCleary (Editor), Robin Murdie, Alan Bell, Neil Withington, Gary Wilson, Michael Smyth and the sales team for their excellent ongoing work.
