Success in William Hill Scottish Cup- now Arbroath away

Berwick progressed to Round Three of the William Hill Scottish Cup after a tense game against Annan Athletic at Shielfield yesterday (14 October)

Skipper Pat Scullion (see pic) was on hand to volley home after Kevin McKinlay headed back across the goal after a corner, with less than 15 minutes remaining. This was to prove the only score in a tight game. However, remembering that Annan had won 5-1 here in the league just a few weeks ago, this proved to be a great result for Manager Robbie Horn, his staff and players.

The draw was made last evening at Montrose and after initially being drawn at Highland League Formartine we now travel to Division One Arbroath on 18th November! This came about after some form of mix up with the numbered balls in the initial draw, resulting in a complete cancellation and re-draw.
