See signs
Robbie Horn has today added to his attacking options after securing the signature of Ouzy See for an undisclosed fee. The 23 year old striker joins the club after a short spell with League One club Forfar Athletic.
See is a forward with years of senior experience despite his young age. In 2013/14 he was the East of Scotland premier league top scorer whilst playing for Tynecastle. From there he joined Selkirk and the following year he progressed again to then Lowland League side Edinburgh City.
A serious knee injury meant See missed out on the second half of the 2015/16 season however he moved up to Ladbrokes League Two with Edinburgh City for the 2016/17 season and notched up seven goals in 25 appearances, one of which was against the ‘Gers back in August 2016. In July 2017 See signed for League One side Forfar Athletic and during his time at Station Park he made over a dozen appearances, mostly as a substitute, scoring one goal.
Robbie Horn revealed his delight at finally completing the deal: “I’m over the moon to finally get Ouzy signed. It’s been on the go for a couple of months now but for a couple of reasons it didn’t happen until now. Ouzy brings a physical presence to the front line, has pace, power and can finish. I would like to thank the board for the backing with this signing, Forfar and Jim Weir in their negotiations and the fans for being patient while we tried to get hopefully the right man”
Ouzy is expected to be in the squad tomorrow as we host Annan Athletic at Shielfield Park. Stay tuned for an interview with the player in the next few days.
