The club would like to remind local youngsters that it will host another presentation for prospective Berwick Rangers FC Academy students this evening from 6pm. Immediately following, first-team manager John Coughlin and club captain Jonny Fairbairn will provide an open training session on the Shielfield Park surface.

Also in attendance will be Berwick-upon-Tweed MP Anne-Marie Trevelyan, who will be showing her support for the project alongside a representative of Northumberland College who will deliver the initial presentation.

Youngsters looking to take part in the training session should bring the relevant equipment, including football boots and shin pads. This is also open for spectators to come along. The pair will also provide some of the coaching throughout the course.

Of course, parents are also welcome to join us for the presentation training session, enabling them to learn more about the NVQ Level Two Sport Diploma course, provided in association with the outstanding Northumberland College.

The ideal student will be between 16-18 years old and live in the TD15 postcode region (either side of the border). Funding for travel costs may also be available.
