Lewis joined the Borderers in September 2020 having agreed a unique two-year deal in which Berwick Rangers would also support the young striker through education in the form of an MBA with club partners Longford International College.

The forward graduated from the Hibernian youth academy, debuting in SPFL Championship action against Falkirk back in December 2014, before joining Dunfermline Athletic on loan for the back end of the 2014/15 campaign.

That development would continue in senior football with a loan to Forfar Athletic in 2015/16 before spending 2016/17 on loan first at Livingston and then Edinburgh City, where he’d net four in 13 games and return to Ainslie Park on loan once more for the following campaign,

In the 2018/19 season, Lewis would be committed to breaking through at Easter Road and made six Scottish Premier League appearances, before eventually departing the Leith club in summer 2019 after 13 years with the club to join Raith Rovers. During his single season at Stark’s Park, Lewis netted six in 22 appearances, helping The Rovers to the SPFL League One title.

Allan was the club’s top scorer in his first season, scoring five times in 16 appearances – 11 of which were starts. Lewis then built on that in the 21/22 campaign, netting an impressive 14 in 29 games – leaving him as our top scorer for the campaign.
