Dean Shanks

Dean joined the ‘Gers in June 2021 and forms part of the club’s management team.

Previously manager with Hawick Royal Albert, Dean probably has fond memories of Shielfield Park having led the side to a famous 3-2 victory over the ‘Gers back in October 2016.

Following his time with Hawick, Dean moved on to Gala Fairydean Rovers where he led the side to an eighth placed finish in the Lowland League during the 2018/19 campaign – as well as the Third Round of the Scottish Cup.

Having left the club that summer following a boardroom change at Netherdale, Dean was most recently coaching with Penicuik Athletic.
