PITCH INSPECTION PLANNED

Berwick Rangers will have an official pitch inspection at 10am Saturday (30th January) to determine if the Queen’s Park game can go ahead.

There are two areas of the ground causing concern on the stand side and in view of possible snow as well the inspection is lined up. Ironically on Tuesday past the club felt that the pitch was playable again after a month of very wet weather, but as anyone in the Berwick area on Wednesday will know, the town was hit by flooding in parts and Shielfield Park did not escape!

Hopefully, a dry and windy night if we get it will help.
