Peterhead match preview
Tomorrow the ‘Gers travel North to face second-placed Peterhead in Ladbrokes League Two.
Berwick will be hoping to bounce back after a last minute defeat against Clyde last Saturday. The result was frustrating for manager Robbie Horn but he’s now focussed on the game ahead: “Last Saturday was very disappointing and watching the highlights back we were on the wrong end of two big decisions but we’ve got to forget about it and move on.”
Saturday will be the third meeting between the sides this campaign. Berwick won 2-0 at Balmoor earlier in the season and Peterhead ran out 3-2 winners in an entertaining game at Shielfield at the end of January. Picking up a result won’t be easy for the Gers but Robbie Horn knows his team is more than capable: “It’s always a tough ask up at Peterhead but we’ve won up there already this season so we know we can get a result.”
On to team news now and only Kevin McKinlay will be missing for the Gers. Both Gary Phillips and Kieran Stewart return from suspension whilst Ouzy See and Alex Petkov have recovered from the injuries which kept them side-lined last weekend.
Admission for the game is priced at £12 and £6 for admission to the ground or £14 and £8 for access to either stand. Hosts Peterhead operate a ticket-only system at the turnstiles meaning supporters have to pick up tickets from the PFC ticket office located at the main entrance. Peterhead have also advised that supporters leave in plenty time due to major roadworks on the A90 north and south of Aberdeen.
Safe travels to all Rangers supporters making the journey and enjoy the game!
