Our thanks to departing players
With the 2024/25 season concluded, Berwick Rangers can announce that the following players are departing the club following the expiration of their contracts or the end of their loan spells:

- Mark McConnell
- Craig Smith
- Alistair Shrive
- Ben Scarborough
- Ben McCrystal
- Rayan Mohammed
The club thanks all of these players for their efforts in black and gold, and wishes them the very best of luck for their next steps in football. A particular mention must go to vice-captain Grant Nelson, who leaves the club with our gratitude and best wishes after over 150 total appearances and 11 goals in almost 5 years at Shielfield Park. Grant is moving on to an exciting new venture abroad, and we hope that he has a fantastic time and looks back on his time with us fondly.
We also thank those who sponsored these players last season – Cheeklaw Garage Duns, Nyall Dixon, Garage Gym Revisited, Eric Sillars, Nick Travers and The Coast Radio UAE. We extend our thanks to Dunbar United, Montrose, Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic, St Johnstone and Dundee FC for their collaboration in loan agreements for a number of the players mentioned above.
While it is always sad to see players depart, manager Kevin Haynes has also been busy securing new players on pre-contract agreements for 2025/26, as well as extending the contracts of a number of key squad members.
