Oliver Fleming signs on for 2018/19

The club are delighted to announce that young defender, Oliver Fleming, has committed to Berwick for next season. The young centre half had a decent season in 2017/18 in what was his first at senior level.

He played a major part in a early season youthful back line and was always in and around the team towards the latter part of the season. He scored a memorable goal in the 0-2 success away at title chasing Peterhead in September 2017.

Oliver was the first summer recruit of 2017 and will be back at Shielfield for a second term. Fleming commented to the Berwick Rangers social media team that “I am delighted to have signed for another year. I cant wait to get started and keep improving my game. I want to do my bit to help the team win as many games as possible and get pushing up that league table. I felt last season was a good one for me personally, getting plenty of games under my belt, which was a big aim for me. For the team I think it was a bit of mixed emotions because we had some really good performances but without the points we felt we deserved. We ended the season well and that will give us a boost for next season”.
