O’Connor leaves for Aussie adventure

Midfielder Kane O’Connor has left Berwick Rangers, as he departs the UK for new opportunities in Australia.

Kane’s time at the club was marred by serious injury, as he tore a cruciate ligament just weeks after signing, and missed the next 14 months, undergoing several operations.

He made a very welcome return to the MKM Shielfield pitch in September, against Heriot-Watt University in the South Challenge Cup, and featured 17 times for Berwick Rangers in all competitions.

The club is very sad to see Kane leave, but would like to wish both Kane and his partner the very best of luck as they start their new lives in Australia.
